Q: How do I book a trail ride?

A: Booking a trail ride is easy! Visit our website or give us a call to check availability and make a reservation. If we do not answer, feel free to text, as cell service can be spotty in our location.

Q: How much do trail rides cost?

A: Public trail rides are $45 per rider for a one-hour guided ride.

Q: What should I wear for a trail ride?

A: Riders must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Comfortable clothing is recommended.

Q: Are helmets required?

A: Yes. Helmets are required for all riders. Feel free to bring your own helmet if you have one, otherwise we will provide one for you.

Q: Are the trail rides suitable for beginners?

A: Our trail rides are beginner-friendly and suitable for most experience levels. Our guides work hard to ensure riders feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience.

Q: What is the minimum age requirement for trail rides?

A: The minimum age for public trail rides is 5 years old. Parents and caregivers should carefully consider a child’s balance, confidence, listening ability, and physical coordination before booking. Our trails include hills, uneven terrain, and natural obstacles.

Q: Is there a weight limit?

A: Yes. For the safety and comfort of both horse and rider, the maximum rider weight limit is 250 pounds.

Q: Are the trail rides guided?

A: Yes. All trail rides are guided by experienced staff familiar with the trails and horses. Safety is our top priority.

Q: How long are the trail rides?

A: Public trail rides are approximately one hour long.

Q: Will we ride with other people?

A: Yes. Public trail rides may include additional riders. Private rides may be available upon request depending on availability.

Q: Can I ride double with my child?

A: No. For safety reasons, double riding is not permitted. Each rider must be able to balance and ride independently.

Q: Can I bring my camera or phone on the trail ride?

A: Yes, but we strongly recommend securing phones and cameras in a zippered pocket or pouch to avoid loss or damage during the ride.

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of my trail ride?

A: Trail rides operate rain or shine. In cases of severe weather, unsafe trail conditions, horse health concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control, rides may be canceled or rescheduled at our discretion.

Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy?

A: We kindly request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may not be eligible for a refund. Refunds for weather-related or vendor-initiated cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Q: What time should we arrive?

A: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled ride time to complete check-in and helmet fitting.

Q: Do I need to sign a waiver?

A: Yes. All riders must sign a liability waiver prior to riding. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf on the day of the ride.

Q: Can anyone ride?

A: For safety reasons, riders must be able to follow directions, balance independently, and safely control themselves on horseback. We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone whose behavior may create a safety risk for themselves, the horses, guides, or other riders.

Q: Are gratuities included in the price?

A: Gratuities are not included in the ride price. Tips are always appreciated if your guide provided an excellent experience!
